Marrano and Frontier Lumber donate building materials to Frontier Central High School in Hamburg
Marrano and Frontier Lumber Co., Inc. of Buffalo joined together to make a donation of building materials to the technology department at Frontier Central High School in Hamburg. Marrano and Frontier delivered lumber to the school this past week that will be used by students in grades nine through twelve, as well as by members of the technology club, to build Adirondack chairs as part of the department's wood construction classes.
"On behalf of the students, I would like to thank Marrano and Frontier Lumber for this generous donation and their commitment to education," said Will Maher, technology teacher at Frontier High School. "The lumber will help present many opportunities to teach the students about skilled trades such as carpentry and wood construction with hand-on learning."
"Marrano is pleased to provide the lumber with the help of our valued trade partner, Frontier Lumber," added John Manns, vice president of sales and marketing at Marrano. "Both companies have a long history of giving back to the community, and this is another way of showing our appreciation to the thousands of Hamburg residents who have built a new Marrano home."
